The highlight of our month was definitely a trip to Warrumbungle National Park.

"Shona, I really think we should paddle
backwards" |
Through the blue mountains and a stop at Wentworth falls- with some water at last. | ||||
| Not a reptile, but the trunk of a grass tree. |
Grass trees, some, including Tina Turner here, upto 500yrs old. |
||||
| The Breadknife,
a volcanic dyke eroded either side.
Killer roboteroo |
|||||
| Snapping a Currawong on Lugh's wall- another dyke parallel to the Breadknife. 200ft drop to the left. | |||||
|
Dawn from Mt. Bluff |
|||||
| Explorer pose | |||||

Tree perched
on a volcanic arch.
Some kind of toy bear in a tree, and no, this is not a snap from the zoo, it's wild (just look at those eyes). |
Below- Shona's
previous incarnation.
