October 2004

The highlight of our month was definitely a trip to Warrumbungle National Park.

"Shona, I really think we should paddle backwards"

Through the blue mountains and a stop at Wentworth falls- with some water at last.
Not a reptile, but the trunk of a grass tree.

Grass trees, some, including Tina Turner here, upto 500yrs old.

The Breadknife, a volcanic dyke eroded either side.

Killer roboteroo

Snapping a Currawong on Lugh's wall- another dyke parallel to the Breadknife. 200ft drop to the left.

Dawn from Mt. Bluff

Explorer pose

Tree perched on a volcanic arch.

Some kind of toy bear in a tree, and no, this is not a snap from the zoo, it's wild (just look at those eyes).

Below- Shona's previous incarnation.
